Reuters confirmed on Wednesday that at least four oil and gas tankers have turned back from attempting to cross the Strait of Hormuz, following the escalation of military tensions between the United States and Iran.
Special Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The agency quoted ship tracking data as saying that the tankers’ decision came after renewed attacks on ships in the strategic waterway, heightening concerns about the safety of navigation and the security of ships transiting the strait.
This comes following the American attack on Iranian sites in the city of Sirik in southern Iran, and the Iranian response that targeted American bases in Bahrain and Kuwait.
