شارك وزير التجارة رئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة العامة للتجارة الخارجية الدكتور ماجد القصبي، أمس (الأحد)، في الاجتماع الافتراضي الـ71 الاستثنائي للجنة التعاون التجاري بدول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية. وأكد القصبي تعزيز التكامل الخليجي عبر المشاريع الإستراتيجية التي ناقشها الاجتماع، الهادفة إلى مواجهة تحديات انسيابية تدفق سلاسل الإمدادات.
وشارك في الاجتماع الأمين العام لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية جاسم البديوي، ووزراء التجارة والصناعة في دول مجلس التعاون.
واطلعوا خلال الاجتماع على قرارات اللقاء التشاوري الـ19 لقادة دول المجلس، وخطوات الأمانة العامة لدول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية بشأن إعداد دراسة لتعزيز التكامل الخليجي في القطاعات الإستراتيجية.
يذكر أن هيئة التجارة الخارجية تعمل على تعزيز مكاسب المملكة التجارية الدولية، وضمان تواجدها الدولي من خلال المشاركة الفعّالة في المنظمات الدولية؛ لضمان تحقيق الأهداف المشتركة.
The Minister of Commerce and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Foreign Trade, Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi, participated yesterday (Sunday) in the 71st extraordinary virtual meeting of the Committee for Trade Cooperation among the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. Al-Qasabi emphasized the importance of enhancing Gulf integration through the strategic projects discussed in the meeting, aimed at addressing the challenges of the smooth flow of supply chains.
Participating in the meeting were the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jasem Al-Budaiwi, and the Ministers of Commerce and Industry from the GCC countries.
During the meeting, they reviewed the decisions from the 19th consultative meeting of the Council leaders and the steps taken by the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council regarding the preparation of a study to enhance Gulf integration in strategic sectors.
It is worth noting that the General Authority for Foreign Trade is working to enhance the Kingdom’s international trade gains and ensure its international presence through effective participation in international organizations to achieve common goals.
