أعربت دولة الكويت عن إدانتها واستنكارها الشديدين للاستهداف الإيراني لناقلة سعودية أثناء عبورها مضيق هرمز، وما يمثله ذلك من انتهاك خطير لقواعد القانون الدولي وتهديد لأمن وسلامة الملاحة البحرية واستقرار إمدادات الطاقة العالمية.
وجددت وزارة الخارجية الكويتية، في بيان، التأكيد على موقف الكويت الثابت والداعم لأمن السعودية واستقرارها ورفضها لأي اعتداء يمس أمنها أو يعرض مصالحها ومقدراتها للخطر.كما طالبت بضرورة وقف هذه الاعتداءات الإيرانية وبشكل فوري وتغليب مسار التهدئة واحترام قواعد القانون الدولي وحرية الملاحة البحرية بما يحفظ أمن المنطقة واستقرار ممراتها الحيوية.
Kuwait expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the Iranian targeting of a Saudi tanker while it was crossing the Strait of Hormuz, and what that represents as a serious violation of international law and a threat to the security and safety of maritime navigation and the stability of global energy supplies.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated, in a statement, Kuwait's firm and supportive stance for the security and stability of Saudi Arabia and its rejection of any aggression that affects its security or jeopardizes its interests and resources. It also called for an immediate cessation of these Iranian aggressions and for prioritizing the path of de-escalation and respecting international law and freedom of maritime navigation in a way that preserves the security of the region and the stability of its vital corridors.
